What is Up With Families?

We are a community organization located in Davenport, Iowa, that supports families with young children with special needs.  We offer a weekend retreat that provides support, understanding and information, as well as relaxation and the opportunity to meet other families facing similar circumstances.

Up With Families: A rich and rewarding experience for children with special needs, their parents and their siblings.

    Up With Families Dance and Fundraiser - Saturday September 17th, 2011

The annual Dance and Fundraiser will be held on Saturday September 17th, 2011 at the Expo Building, Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport.  This is a fun event for the entire family! 
                          

Doors open at 5:00. Local band, Pulse Ox, will play from 6-10pm
 

There will be food, drinks, music, children's games and activities, door prizes, raffles and silent auction.
Raffle tickets are on sale now.  $2 each or $10 for 6.  Winners of this raffle need not be present to win.  Some of the Big Ticket raffle prizes include: Pro Golf Lesson/Simulator Rental/$100 golf accessories-donated by The Clubhouse, Blackhawk Hotel overnight stay with breakfast and dinner for 2 at a downtown restaurant-donated by Blackhawk hotel, Garden Statue-donated by West End Gardens, Quilt-donated by Two Gramma's Quilting, IPOD touch, plus many more items.

All proceeds from this fundraiser event goes towards covering the costs associated with the annual weekend retreat. (see About Us tab on the left)
